Volunteers needed for Wimbledon Town Centre Information Desk
The WTCI has been brought to Wimbledon through the Going for Gold campaign, and is a business-led project funded by sponsors. Our aim is to promote Wimbledon's shopping, entertainment, leisure, events and all local businesses to the visitors to Wimbledon.

Businesses urged to take advantage of 2012 opportunities with two years to go
With two years to go until the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games, the London business community is being encouraged to take advantage of the commercial opportunities that are still available for businesses of all sizes. As Games preparations enter the home stretch, there are still millions of pounds worth of contracts available from both the Olympic Delivery Authority and the London Organising Committee.

Merton highly commended for raising aspiration through the arts
Merton Council, in partnership with the New Wimbledon Theatre and the Wimbledon Civic Theatre Trust, were highly commended at the Municipal Journal Achievement Awards after being shortlisted for the prestigious Public Private Partnership Achievement of the Year.
