WIMBLEDON TOWN CENTRE INFORMATION DESK

The Wimbledon Town Centre Information Desk is another successful Wimbledon Going for Gold initiative that has been brought to fruition.  Wimbledon has been lacking in an official tourist information bureau and until now, the only source of information has been held at Wimbledon Library where there is a leaflet distribution point.  Businesses have lead the way to bring an information point to a more central position in the town centre.  Thanks to Centre Court Shopping Centre's offer of the space and equipment to help us get the campaign off the ground, and to our sponsors to help us sustain it, we are delighted to launch the new WTCI desk this June 2010, in time for the tennis Championships.
